Feed Feed Feed

Wonder Week here. Apparently not only is sleep over rated, but the booby is a dummy/comfort toy/food source/boredom fixer/play thing/sleep aid...

Really I'm not complaining, I love our breastfeeding relationship and being a 'crunchie mom' is very important to me.

On another note, Mr. Idonotwanttorollorcrawl has started pulling up on things to standing. For a child who does nothing much else then sit and play with his toys, this really surprised me.
My. Child. Is. A. Freak. LOL

Sleep Little Baby

Sleep my little baby
You bring me so much joy
Know that mumma loves you
My sweet little boy

Sleep my little baby
You'll never fear or weep
Cuddled in my warm safe arms
As I rock you off to sleep

Sleep my little baby
I love having you near
Curled up safely in my bed
Your snores I love to hear

Picture This

Picture this.

An adorable small child, about the age of 2. Big brown eyes, beautiful blonde curls, and one hell of a cheeky giggle.

Picture this.

Child, running up and down the isles of Woolworths, while his poor flustered mother pushed the trolley after him, asking him to please stop. All the while his small baby brother giggling away in the trolley, no doubt taking in all the mischief his fun big brother is getting up to.

Picture this.

Said adorable (getting less adorable by now) 2 year old, spots his favourite thing! "Powers!". Otherwise known as... flowers.

Picture this.

Poor flustered mother reaches out to stop the adorable 2 year old, from attacking the $50 bunch of roses, and knocks 2 bunches out herself. Picks them up and they are back on their way.

Picture this.

Silly flustered mother, and not so adorable 2 year old head down the fridge isle, and something catches the attention of the not so adorable 2 year old. A fire exit.

Picture this.

Silly (for thinking taking a 2 year old shopping who had not had his ritual 2 hourly nap), flustered and highly embarrassed mother yells "No Ash, don't open that...". Alarm sounds.

Oh man, it didn't get any better either. After a dropped milk carton, a dirty look, some bell dinging at the counter, and running into the carpark, this (silly, flustered, embarrassed and utterly exhausted) mother, was so happy to get that taxi home. Finally. To put the not so adorable 2 year old to bed.

Lesson for the day. Don't attempt to break the routine. You might think you're the boss, but you're not.

P.S. Ashton is back to his utterly adorable 'butter wouldn't melt' self.

Another Lazy Friday

Eli... coming to a door near you

Wow today has flown by. I am totally exhausted and I can honestly say I haven't done a whole lot today. What I have done, is fed a baby, changed a nappy, cleaned a potty, made food/snack/drink for children, fed a baby, changed a nappy, cleaned a potty, picked up toys, cleaned a potty, made snack/food/drinks, fed a baby... you get the picture.

Eli's having a growth spurt I believe. He's been feeding pretty flat out for the last 2 days. Going to see the health nurse on Monday, I am excited to see how much he's grown since last month!

Oh! Exciting news!!

Eli...

Has....

A...

TOOTH! yay!! Today he was really gnawing on his fingers so I stuck my finger in and there was a little spiky left toothy. Well done Eli! I have to say I 100% believe the teething necklace is what helped him tolerate it. We haven't had any major dramas with this one :) If you'd like to know more, please check out Sarahs store - Sunshine'n'Lollipops

Well better get the small children to bed. It's late and this mumma has to send out invoices then head to bed for some baby snuggles!

Day Trip

Today we headed off to the Cataract Gorge in town

Pictures speak louder than words really. It was lots of fun. Now I am off to bed to snuggle up with this....

Jealous? I would be too!

When Kids Go Quiet

So all the mummas in my little "Cuddle Cuddle Cuddle" group are all having a giggle over what happen when kids go quiet. I thought it was worth a blog post! Here is what happens when my kids go quiet...

What have your kids done?
